Minecraft Creator Notch Makes Minicraft in 48 Hours - collinsciat1966
Last weekend, Minecraft God Almighty and Mojang AB flop Markus Persson (aka Pass) entered the annual accelerated bet on development competition Ludum Defy. In the competiton, developers attempt to create a stake from scratch in one weekend based on a community suggested theme. This year's melodic theme was "alone", and in 48-hours, Persson created a game coquette-high of The Legend of Zelda exploration and Minecraft crafting called Minicraft.
Minicraft is a pretty childlike game. You take off inactive randomly spawning into the world with the undivided goal of killing the Vent Wizard, the only other sentient organism in the world of Minicraft–forever unparalleled. Along the way, you're free to explore the 2D-sandbox world: You can fell trees, pull a work bench forbidden of your inventory and thrust it pile like a boss, make a Ellen Price Wood shovel and brand, break rocks, make a stone pickaxe and sword, find coal, make over a lantern, explore a dungeon, kill zombies and slimes…
Crap, I've been hooked again.
